- Houtini-LM MCP server – a local AI analysis tool that integrates with LM Studio

We’re always improving our services, so what we offer might change over time.
Houtini-LM specific terms
Houtini-LM is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables local AI analysis of your code and projects. By using Houtini-LM, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You run Houtini-LM locally on your own system – we provide the software tool, but you control its execution
- You are responsible for your LM Studio setup and any AI models you use with Houtini-LM
- All analysis happens on your local machine – we don’t see or store the code you analyse
- You are solely responsible for any actions taken based on Houtini-LM’s analysis or recommendations
- Houtini-LM provides analysis and suggestions only – it doesn’t make decisions or take actions without your input
- You must review all generated code before using it in production systems
- AI-generated analysis may contain errors – you’re responsible for verifying accuracy before implementation
Using our services
What you can do
- Use our services for legitimate business and personal purposes
- Access features you’ve subscribed to or been granted access to
- Contact us for support when you need help
- Provide feedback to help us improve
What you can’t do
- Use our services for anything illegal or harmful
- Try to break, hack, or reverse engineer our systems
- Share your account access with others (unless we’ve agreed to this)
- Use our services to compete directly with us
- Violate anyone else’s intellectual property rights
- Send spam or malicious content through our services
- Try to access parts of our services you’re not authorised to use
Additional restrictions for Houtini-LM users
When using Houtini-LM, you also agree not to:
- Generate malicious code or use the tool to create harmful software
- Analyse code you don’t have permission to examine (respect intellectual property and confidentiality)
- Rely solely on AI analysis for security-critical or safety-critical systems
- Use generated code in production without proper testing and review
- Hold us responsible for any bugs, security vulnerabilities, or issues in AI-generated or AI-analysed code
Your content and data
Your ownership
You own the content and data you provide to our services. We don’t claim ownership of your code, files, or other materials.
Our licence
By using our services, you give us permission to:
- Process your content to provide our services
- Store and backup your data
- Make temporary copies for technical purposes
- Use anonymised, aggregated data to improve our services
This licence lasts as long as you use our services and for a reasonable time afterwards to complete any ongoing work.
Your responsibility
You’re responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to share any content you provide
- Not sharing content that infringes others’ rights
- Keeping backups of important data
- Understanding that we can’t guarantee data won’t be lost (though we try our best)
Payments and subscriptions
Pricing
Our current pricing is available on our website. Prices might change, but we’ll give existing customers reasonable notice.
Billing
- Payments are processed by trusted third-party providers
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- Refunds are handled case by case – contact us to discuss
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. You’ll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Service availability
Our commitment
We aim to keep our services running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee:

- That our services will be error-free

We sometimes need to take services offline for maintenance. We’ll try to give you advance notice when possible.

Limitation of liability
What we’re responsible for

What we’re not responsible for
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for:

- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages caused by your misuse of our services
- Problems caused by third-party services we integrate with
- Issues beyond our reasonable control
Houtini-LM specific exclusions
We specifically exclude all liability for:
- Code quality, security, or functionality of any code analysed or generated using Houtini-LM
- Accuracy of AI analysis – AI models can make mistakes and you must verify all outputs
- Security vulnerabilities introduced by following Houtini-LM recommendations
- Data loss or corruption caused by implementing AI-generated solutions
- Production system failures resulting from AI-analysed or AI-generated code
- Compatibility issues between Houtini-LM and your local AI models or LM Studio setup
- Performance issues on your local system when running Houtini-LM
- Intellectual property violations arising from AI-generated code
- Any damages arising from your use of locally-generated analysis or code
Maximum liability
Where we are liable, our total liability to you for any incident or series of related incidents is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the incident occurred.
For Houtini-LM specifically, since the tool runs entirely on your local system and processes your local files without our involvement, our maximum liability for any Houtini-LM related issues is £0 (zero pounds).
Your protection
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Anything else that can’t be excluded under UK law
Indemnification
You agree to protect us from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of someone else’s rights
- Content you provide that infringes third-party rights
Additional Houtini-LM indemnification
You specifically agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Code you generate or modify using Houtini-LM
- Security breaches or vulnerabilities in systems using AI-analysed or AI-generated code
- Data loss or system failures resulting from implementing Houtini-LM recommendations
- Intellectual property disputes related to AI-generated code
- Any third-party claims arising from your use of Houtini-LM or code it analyses/generates
- Production system issues caused by deploying code that was analysed or modified using Houtini-LM
Termination
When you can end this agreement
- Cancel your subscription at any time
- Stop using our services
- Delete your account (where applicable)
When we might suspend or terminate your access
- If you breach these terms
- If we reasonably suspect fraudulent or harmful activity
- If required by law or court order
- If we discontinue services (with reasonable notice)
What happens when the agreement ends
- Your right to use our services stops
- We’ll delete your data according to our retention policies
- Sections of these terms that should survive (like liability limitations) remain in effect
Disputes and governing law
Governing law
These terms are governed by English and Welsh law.
Disputes
We’d prefer to resolve any disputes through friendly discussion. If that doesn’t work:
- UK courts have jurisdiction over any legal proceedings
- We both agree to try mediation before going to court
- You might have the right to use alternative dispute resolution services
General provisions
Entire agreement
These terms, along with our Privacy Policy, make up the entire agreement between us. They replace any previous agreements or understandings.
Changes to these terms
We might update these terms from time to time. When we do:
- We’ll change the “last updated” date
- For material changes, we’ll notify you by email or through our services
- Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the new terms
Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
No waiver
If we don’t enforce part of these terms immediately, it doesn’t mean we’ve given up the right to enforce them later.
Assignment
We might transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another company (for example, if we’re acquired). We’ll notify you if this happens.
You can’t transfer your rights under these terms without our written permission.
